January 25, 2012 - Nursery to Primary

Today my favorite moment was when we were talking about how Henry used to go to Nursery but now he goes to Primary and he asked, "Is I am a nursery children?"  It's so fun when they try to put sentences together and they don't come out quite right!

December 20, 2011 - Santa Knows

Today my favorite moment was when Jaxon asked how Santa knows everyone's names and he answered his own question with, "Probably because Heavenly Father told him.  Probably he was blessed like that by Heavenly Father."

October 2, 2011 - General Conference

Today my favorite moments were while I was watching General Conference.  I love being able to spend a lazy day at home with my precious family and listen to inspired counsel from the Prophet and apostles.  The day was fabulous!

August 29, 2011 - Henry At the Temple

Today my favorite moment happened as we were wrapping up Family Night.  We talked about the temple, showed them our temple recommends, and read some of President Monson's talk about temples from this past conference.  So to reinforce the points discussed, Devin asked the boys, "Where is the most important place we can go?"  Henry was dressed in his little Superman shirt with his cape on, sitting cross-legged on the couch as he answered, "At the temple."  It was adorable!  I pray every day that our boys will have strong testimonies to lead them to the temple where they can make and keep covenants so we can live together as a family again!  I know that is the only way we can truly be happy.

July 18, 2011 - Family Night

Again, my favorite moment was during Family Night.  My boys are so crazy sometimes, but when it comes to being reverent at Family Night, they are usually pretty good.  Their little testimonies are so precious.  I just love it!

July 8, 2011 - Jaxon

Today my favorite moment happened during dinner.  The kids and I were eating (Devin wasn't home) and Jaxon ran out of the room.  When he came back, he had the Book of Mormon in his hand and said we needed to read scriptures.  Devin usually gets the scriptures for family study, but since he was gone, it was sweet that Jaxon remembered and wanted to do our family reading.  I hope my boys always have a testimony and strive to do what is right.  I know doing so will bring them happiness.

June 27, 2011 - Polio

So, this is a long story and it's late so I will write it all out tomorrow, but it was a great moment and it involved Devin making a joke about something someone said to me at church yesterday.  I know you are all on the edge of your seats.

June 26, 2011 - Jaxon

Today my favorite moment was when Jaxon asked Devin at church, "Daddy, when are you going to be bishop?"  Wow, I believe sometimes kids know stuff.  Hm...I wonder if Devin will be someday...
