June 29, 2012 - Tetris

Today my favorite moment was when I was playing Tetris against my brother in law.  I hadn't played for years and we had a great time playing against each other.  No one knew I had Tetris skills.

October 19, 2011 - Trampoline

Today my favorite moment was when the boys wanted to jump on the trampoline and I turned the water on and they went crazy with excitement.  It was so cute to see them jumping and laughing.  A few minutes later, I thought to move the trampoline to where the grass needed water.  Then, a more favorite moment was when I was struggling to move it while Jaxon and Henry watched soaking wet in the underwear and Henry said, "Mommy, I will help you."  He came over to help and Jaxon followed his lead.  It was so adorable that Henry thought to help.

October 5, 2011 - Running & Picnic

Today I had a few favorite moments.

Running.  Oh it was a beautiful day and I got to run outside!  I was going to go for 3, but then went for 6 because I was feeling so good!  For the marathon, my goal is to run 8:20 miles to qualify for Boston.  So I am trying to train around an 8:00 mile.  Today, I did the first 5 miles at that pace then did fartleks for the last mile and cut it down to 6:00.

Ollie.  When I got back from running I found Ollie in the kitchen.  I kissed him and went on to kiss Devin. When I left Ollie, he wined and said, "Ma."  Coincidence?  Maybe.  But it was still cute and made me happy.

Picnic.  The boys wanted to have a picnic for dinner, so we did.  We took our french toast and hash potatoes out to the shade in the front yard.  After eating we played duck, duck, goose and the boys had a ball!

June 8, 2011 - Picnic

Today my favorite moment was when Jaxon packed a picnic basket with "juicy boxes," apples, cherries, and saltine crackers for a picnic.  We went out in the shade in the grass at Granny's with Granny and Gramps.  We ate our snacks and played Duck, Duck, Goose.  Henry had my bite the pits out of his cherries and Jaxon had me hand out the unbroken crackers.  Ollie sat and smiled like he usually does.  The weather was warm, but nice in the shade and the grass was green.  We all had a fun time!

May 2, 2011 - Henry

Today my favorite moment was when Jaxon and Henry were playing He-Man outside in their underwear.  I had the door open with the screen so I could hear them from inside while I was in the kitchen.  I looked outside and saw Henry holding his underwear in one hand while he peed in the grass.  It was so cute to see his little bare bum!  Then I was thankful he peed in the grass and not in his underwear.

April 29, 2011 - Hide & Seek, Trampoline

Today my favorite moment happened at Granny's when Devin mentioned Hide and Seek and Jaxon said, "Mommy, can we play that?  You and me."  It was so sweet.  I had to lay Ollie down first, then we played in the backyard.  Jaxon told me to "Hide in tricky spots" and "Count to 12, no count to 8."  Jaxon and I took turns hiding and Henry always hid.  He usually gave the hiding spot away because he is not very good at whispering.  After we played for a while, Daddy came out and we all jumped on the trampoline together.  It was so fun to play with my boys.  I am so blessed.
